Accommodation was superb as was the food…. superb hosts and the accommodation and food just wonderful. Enjoyed Lavers Hill pub and meeting the interesting locals in the bar.
Walking west was good .The itinerary gave us ..sufficient distance each day and we could walk at our pace.
Our suggestions would be to end the walk at the viewing platform at the eastern end of the Apostles -(first car park). We didn’t like walking to the kiosk and seeing hundreds of tourists . That was overwhelming after the enjoyable solitude of the previous days’ walks.
We found the meeting spots each day – no problems . The photographs helped.
We thought the walk was ..wonderful. Strongly recommended
Parks Victoria could improve the walk by..
The part where you walk inland on access roads west of Joanna’s beach to the gate where we were picked us up was uninteresting . I understand there is an intention to provide a direct route along the coast in future years which will be great.
Our tips for binoculars would be…. Take your time and enjoy the wild life ,bird life, trees and vegetation. The maps and glossy prints of birds fungi trees etc were great.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday. We thought it was good value.
