We found Walk91 on Google….and the Great Ocean Walk itinerary was excellent. Nothing could have been done to improve the Great Ocean Walk walking package….and our accommodation was perfect! Excellent! What really did it for us was at the Eco lodge to walk in and be offered tea or coffee (even though we were covered in mud). It was a nice way to finish our first day. The farmhouse was fantastic..nice to walk in after a day on the Great Ocean Walk in the cold to a nice warm fire. And the heated pool mmmmmmm. The food was fantastic. One thing..the caterer did not label all our food and one night we ended up with butterscotch sauce over our mashed potatoes (we thought it was gravy) an interesting combination. LOL.!! The Great Ocean Walk is better than a lot of national parks..maybe the occasional sign post to say..so many kms to ……. Our tips are make sure you have the gear..wet weather gear especially and a bladder in your backpack so you can drink as you walk. Need to keep hydrated. Also we had GPS watches which was good as it gave us an indication of how far we had to walk and how far we had covered. All in all would recommend Walk 91 to any people who wish to do the Great Ocean Walk, and not have to worry too much about accommodation and food etc. Especially those who don’t want to “rough it”. Nice Italian restaurant in Apollo Bay up the side street from the hotel. The Youth Hostel in Apollo Bay was great, with welcoming fire and comfortable rooms and beds. Didn’t need anything more.
