These times are a guide only, and intended for walkers carrying heavy packs. As Walk 91 hikers are only carrying a daypack, we have kept to the Park Victoria time guidelines, but hope that this generous timing will allow you sufficient time for lunch and short rests along the track.

PRICE INCLUDES:
The night before the walk begins:
Dorm accommodation in a hostel in Apollo Bay, close to shops, supermarkets & and restaurants. There are shared kitchen / cooking facilities for you to prepare your own meals.

Night 1 & 2 during your walk:
This bunk house /dorm room accommodation is located in the Otway National Park, set in amongst magnificent forests of tall manna gums. The complex is fully equipped offering a camp kitchen with crockery and utensils, outdoor and indoor dining areas. BBQs are available and firewood (small fee applies). Internet is also available and laundry facilities (small fee applies). Gold coins are required for the newly built shower block (the showers are run on rain water).

Night 3 & 4:
Experience Australia's unique wildlife, all situated in your backyard .
This accommodation is surrounded by The Otway's National Park, high in the rainforest. It is an animal lover's haven, with the accommodation situated on private property, dedicated to breeding some of Australia's rarest endangered species. It is home to some of the largest and most successful breeding colonies of endangered nocturnal mammals. At night, you have the opportunity to view these remarkable creatures at their most active.
Look out for Sugar and Squirrel Gliders, Bettongs, Bandicoots, Possums, Owls, Flying Foxes, and the Otway’s
most feared predator, the endangered Spotted-tailed Quoll; also known as the Tiger Quoll. Surrounding the cottage are the friendly Red-Bellied Pademelons which you are welcome to feed. Animal food is provided to
feed the animals. Dean, Zoologist and owner of the property, is happy to answer any questions you may have.
This budget accommodation (private for your group) is fully self-contained with kitchen, TV/DVD,
electric blankets and all linen is provided.

MEALS:
You provide all your own breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals.
All accommodation listed has kitchen facilities.
On evenings 3 & 4
If desired, we can arrange for you to be transferred to the local pub for dinner.
Dinner is reasonably priced at the pub bistro and provided at your own cost.
You bring your own food (and alcohol) with you. We will drop it with your packs to your accommodation. Please do not bring perishable goods. Although there is a fridge at your accommodation goods may perish during car transfers.

To /From your accommodation as the itinerary listed requires.
From the end of your walk returning to Apollo Bay
TRANSFERS:
Of your ‘luggage’ packs to your accommodation
So you only need to carry a daypack with you on the walk.
PRICE ALSO INCLUDES:
- Tickets to the Cape Otway Light Station, on day 2 of your walk for each walker. Tour the 18 metre, 150 year old Light Station, and visit the Telegraph Station and World War ll radar station. Enjoy the spectacular views, and explore the surrounding precinct.(You are able to rest and have a coffee here if desired at your own cost).
- A visit to the Twelve Apostles at the end of your walk (just past Glenample). Walk 91 will transport you to the viewing platform at the Twelve Apostles, wait for 20 minutes whilst you admire the view, then return you back to Apollo Bay.
- An Official Parks Victoria 'Great Ocean Walk' Map for each couple walking*
- A waterproof map holder
- Walking notes
- A Photographic laminated Indigenous Plants Chart for each couple*
- A Photographic laminated Indigenous Wildlife Chart for each couple*
- Free rental of an 'EPIRB' (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon)
- Walking poles are available for use FOC if required. Please book in advance.
- *1 set of notes, 1 dry bag and 1 map will be issued per each 2 people walking. Additional maps can be purchased on arrival if you require extras. All notes will be sent to the person making the booking / paying the deposit.
