Please note that above times and distances are as stated on the official 'Great Ocean Walk Map'. These times are a guide only, and intended for walkers carrying heavy packs. As Walk 91 hikers are only carrying a daypack, we have kept to the Park Victoria time guidelines, but hope that this generous timing will allow you sufficient time for lunch and short rests along the track.

CAMPING:

4 nights camping in the ‘Great Ocean Walk’ hike in campsites. These camp spots have composting toilets, and most have wooden shelters to eat / rest under.
Walk 91 will make your camping reservations with Parks Victoria.
ACCOMMODATION:
1 night’s accommodation in private cottage;
Experience Australia's unique wildlife, all situated in your backyard .
This accommodation is surrounded by The Otway's National Park, high in the rainforest. It is an animal lover's haven, with the accommodation situated on private property, dedicated to breeding some of Australia's rarest endangered species. It is home to some of the largest and most successful breeding colonies of endangered nocturnal mammals. At night, you have the opportunity to view these remarkable creatures at their most active.
Look out for Sugar and Squirrel Gliders, Bettongs, Bandicoots, Possums, Owls, Flying Foxes, and the Otway’s most feared predator, the endangered Spotted-tailed Quoll; also known as the Tiger Quoll. Surrounding the cottage are the friendly Red-Bellied Pademelons which you are welcome to feed. Animal food is provided to feed the animals. Dean, Zoologist and owner of the property, believes that to truly appreciate the animals, you need to get up-close and personal. He is happy to answer any questions you may have.
This private cottage is fully self-contained with kitchen, TV/DVD, electric blankets and all linen is provided.

MEALS:
Provisions (provided by yourselves & non perishable)
These are left with us before your walk, and re-delivered to your campsites each evening with your camping gear.
We ask you to separate your food for each food drop. Details will be provided in your itinerary.
If desired, we can arrange for you to be transferred to the local pub for dinner (the evening you stay at your accommodation).
Dinner is reasonably priced at the pub bistro and provided at your own cost. There is also a small fee for transport to the pub / bistro. Alternatively you may cook your own meals at your accommodation which has a fully equipped kitchen.
TRANSPORT:
From the end of your walk returning you back to Apollo Bay
From the GOW to and from your accommodation for one night
(Optional transport to the pub bistro is provided at an additional charge, prices listed below).
TRANSFERS:
Of your ‘luggage’ packs / camping gear / provisions to your campsites & accommodation
So you only need to carry a daypack with you on the walk.
Please note that one rucksack per person is permitted, (not including food parcels). Please note that you are staying in beautiful but small hike- in camping areas. Parks Victoria does NOT permit large amounts of equipment in these areas. Please also note that your gear cannot be dropped directly into the campsites.
You will have to carry your gear max 1km from the vehicle into your campsites. This is due to limited / no car access.
All camping gear is available at an additional cost of $180 for 4 nights on the walk, including a 2 x two man tent to share, 2 x sleeping bags and liners, 2 x sleep mats, 1 x stove, cooking utensils, ground mat, and torch. This must be booked in advance. (Gas is available at your own expense)
PRICE ALSO INCLUDES:
- Tickets to the Cape Otway Light Station, on day 2 of your walk for each walker. Tour the 18 metre, 150 year old Light Station, and visit the Telegraph Station and World War ll radar station. Enjoy the spectacular views, and explore the surrounding precinct. (You are able to rest and have a coffee here if desired at your own cost).
- A visit to the Twelve Apostles at the end of your walk (just past Glenample). Walk 91 will transport you to the viewing platform at the Twelve Apostles, wait for 20 minutes whilst you admire the view, then return you back to Apollo Bay.

If you would like to book transfers to the pub/bistro, please advise on booking and we will let the accommodation providers know. In case you decide at the last minute to change your mind and cook for yourselves instead, we ask you to pay the accommodation providers directly at the time of transfer.
A return journey to and from the pub bistro is $20 for up 1- 4 people and $40 for 5-8 walkers.
The booking and payment must be made by one person representing the group.
If any person cancels in the group, the original booking quote applies.
